Our take

This is a short animated Batman film, not a kids cartoon. People shoot, stab, and talk about killing. A young sidekick is in the fights and someone yells to kill the kid. You will hear hell, damn, b-word, and a-word. Fine for most teens 15 and up who already watch these DC films

Uplifting themes

The group has to work together when the usual leader is missing Older heroes try to look after the younger one, even when they argue

Story (may spoil tone)

When Batman goes missing, it takes the entire Bat "family" - including Batwoman and Batwing - to keep the peace in Gotham and unravel the mystery behind the Dark Knight's disappearance.
