Why our age differs

Official is PG. We say 10+ because a casino is part of the plot. A burned face and loud guns may also be too much for little kids

Our take

This is the same jokey 1960s Batman as a cartoon. Fights stay silly, though a villain's face is burned and that look may startle younger kids. A casino shows up as a crime spot. Fine for most kids 10 and up who already like this campy style

Uplifting themes

The heroes try to save a friend who has gone wrong Batman and Robin stay loyal and keep trying to help

Story (may spoil tone)

Former Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent, one side of his face scarred by acid, goes on a crime spree based on the number '2'. All of his actions are decided by the flip of a defaced, two-headed silver dollar.

Talk after watching

  • A good man is changed by a terrible accident. How do you treat someone after that?
  • The film visits a casino. What is the difference between a cartoon heist and real gambling?
