Our take
The Doll is a 12-minute independent horror-comedy short, not a theatrical feature. A doll repeatedly arrives at Chris and Abhi's apartment with an unsettling tagline: "It Won't Go Away." Expect creepy-object tension and dark humor in a very brief runtime. Fine for older teens who enjoy short-form horror comedy; too odd and eerie for young kids

Talk after watching
- Horror shorts often use one creepy idea instead of a full plot. What makes a doll scary on its own?
- The film mixes comedy with dread. When does something funny also feel unsettling?
