Speak No Evil

Movie 2024 110 min Horror, Thriller Last reviewed 3 Sep 2026
Official Rating MA 15+ ClearAge 16+ Quality ★★★★☆

Our take

Speak No Evil follows an American family who accept a country stay with a British couple they met on holiday. The tone shifts from awkward comedy into sustained menace, physical harm, and a child in real danger. Expect frequent f-word language, some drinking, and disturbing violence. Do not treat this as a mild thriller. Older teens and adults only

Story (may spoil tone)

When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
