Our take
This is a short animated Batman story, closer to a tense rescue than a joke cartoon. A woman is taken so a sick wife can get an operation she did not ask for, and there are guns plus a blast. Fine for most kids 10 and up with a parent. Kids who scare at kidnappings may want a hand to hold
Uplifting themes
The heroes race to free someone who was taken, and they will not trade one life for another Batman and Robin keep looking for the missing woman. The villain's love for his wife is real and still wrong
Story (may spoil tone)
When Mr. Freeze kidnaps Barbara Gordon, as an involuntary organ donor to save his dying wife, Batman and Robin must find her before the operation can begin.

Talk after watching
- Is it ever OK to hurt one person to save someone you love?
- What should you do if someone tries to make you 'help' after they have taken you?
