Fight Club follows an insomniac whose secret fights grow into a much more dangerous movement. Bloody brawls, plans for destruction, strong language, sexual talk, and mental unraveling are central. The film makes rebellion attractive even as it shows the damage. We put it at around R 18+ and up, in line with the displayed R 18+ 18+ classification.
Uplifting themes
There is a satirical warning about consumerism and hollow masculinity if you read between the fights. Most viewers remember chaos first Do not treat Tyler or the narrator as wellness guides. The film assumes you know they are unreliable Media-studies teens might unpack satire and cult behavior. Otherwise skip assigning it as life advice
Story (may spoil tone)
A ticking-time-bomb insomniac and a slippery soap salesman channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until an eccentric gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.

- When a film satirizes toxic masculinity, how do you spot what it condemns versus what it glamorizes?
- Why would real fight clubs be dangerous even if movie fights look controlled?
