Why our age differs

Official is MA 15+. We say 17+ because the sexualized monster kills and assault talk land harder than a standard MA teen comedy-horror

Our take

Jennifer's Body follows a teen who begins killing boys after a satanic ritual goes wrong. Seduction, bloody attacks, assault references, and strong swearing sit beneath the horror comedy. The guide also flags fire and grief. We put it at around 17 and up for the sexualised violence and gore.

Uplifting themes

Female friendship almost wins; horror tropes undercut most moral takeaway Needy shows loyalty; Jennifer post-possession is literally predatory

Story (may spoil tone)

Jennifer, a gorgeous, seductive cheerleader takes evil to a whole new level after she's possessed by a sinister demon. Now it's up to her best friend to stop Jennifer's reign of terror before it's too late.
