Our take

An Australian animated comedy follows a space princess on a rescue mission with plenty of queer romance and satire. Constant strong language, sexual references, cartoon stabbings and decapitation talk, plus a brief drug-snorting gag, run through it. Ratings list it as MA 15+ or MA15+ for crude humor and coarse language. Best for older teens who want edgy LGBTQ+ comedy, not family viewers.

Uplifting themes

Queer pride, loyalty and standing up to prejudice weave through the chaos

Story (may spoil tone)

A space princess is thrust out of her sheltered life into a galactic quest to save her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from the straight white maliens.
