Our take
This theatrical anime sequel packs chainsaw battles, severed limbs and corpses. Rated MA 15+ for strong bloody violence, gore and some nudity; the UK rating is MA 15+. Teens kiss and swim with rear nudity briefly shown. Romance and humor soften the tone, but newcomers may be lost without the series. Best for older anime fans, not young children.

Talk after watching
- Anime violence here is graphic and frequent. How does stylized gore affect your teen compared with live action?
- Denji's crush on Reze drives the story. Talk about trust when romance mixes with secrets.
