Why our age differs

Official is M. We say 15+ because past-life murder flashbacks and stalker tension play like adult thriller material, not a mild mystery

Our take

Grace thinks she is a woman named Margaret, and Mike helps her recover memories that point to a famous composer and a stabbing. Scissors, jealousy, and amnesia drive a noir romance with a few jolts. Language stays mild, with wine and cigarettes in the background. We land at M and up because the murder mystery and hypnotic sessions feel intense for younger kids

Uplifting themes

Truth and loyalty win over manipulation in the end. The path there is twisty and morally gray Mike and Grace show courage when facts get strange. Antagonists model jealousy and control

Story (may spoil tone)

In 1949, composer Roman Strauss is executed for the murder of his wife. In 1990s Los Angeles, a detective comes across a mute amnesiac woman who is somehow linked to the Strauss murder.
