Our take

Minions & More Volume 1 gathers short, silly stories from several animated worlds. The bumps, chases and brief scares are played for laughs, and the stories change quickly. We would start around 8 for children who enjoy that busy style.

Uplifting themes

Puppy adoption, scout kindness, and holiday helpers reward sharing and teamwork across the set Gru's family, pets, and minions usually mean well even when chaos wins. Bad guys stay cartoonish, not models of real cruelty
