Why our age differs

Official is MA 15+. We say 16+ because severe swearing, heavy drug use, and sustained psychological cruelty sit denser than a lighter restricted thriller

Our take

Irene goes to her fiancé's bucks weekend, where drinking, drugs and cruel games make the relationship feel less safe by the hour. The discomfort is psychological more than bloody. We would wait until 16 for the coercive tone and the sustained unease.

Uplifting themes

The film interrogates toxic relationship patterns and the cost of staying quiet to keep the peace. Any uplift is hard-won and uneasy Almost nobody models healthy care under pressure. Viewers are meant to notice the failure, not copy the mates

Story (may spoil tone)

A bride-to-be is invited to her own fiancé's bachelor party, but when uncomfortable details about their relationship are exposed, the night takes a feral turn.

Coercive control, male fragility, and spiraling paranoia sit at the centre of the weekend. Characters fray in ways that feel emotionally raw, not clinical
