Our take

After the Sunset is a glossy crime comedy set on beach resorts, yacht parties, and jewel vaults. You get flirtation, a few bedroom moments, and talk about swinging, plus guns pulled during the caper. Swearing sits in the middle, with damn, the s-word, and at least one f-word. Cocktails and beach drinking run through the holiday mood. We land at 13 and up because the sexy banter and heist tension fit mid-teens more than younger kids

Uplifting themes

Loyalty between partners peeks through the con-artist games. The film mostly celebrates clever scheming over clear morals The leads are charming thieves who treat crime like sport. An FBI agent tries to stay professional while getting pulled into their orbit

Story (may spoil tone)

An FBI agent is suspicious of two master thieves, quietly enjoying their retirement near what may - or may not - be the biggest score of their careers.
