Our take
This short Netflix anime is basically a music video with a plot, heavy on car combat, monstrous foes, and stylized carnage. Lyrics drop the f-word, s-word, damn, and hell over the soundtrack while the pictures stay mostly dialogue-free. The violence is flashy and comic-book brutal rather than realistic crime drama. The gory action and strong language in the songs make this an adult animated film.
Uplifting themes
Pushing forward against a broken world is the only soft thesis on offer. Most of the runtime prefers attitude and volume over morals The silent driver is stubborn, skilled, and hard to knock down. Mentorship and kindness are simply not the point of this visual album
Story (may spoil tone)
In this anime visual album, a mysterious driver heads deep into a postapocalyptic hellscape toward a ferocious showdown with two monstrous opponents.

Post-apocalyptic hellscapes, grotesque enemies, and night-drive dread set a harsh mood. The style is rock-opera nightmare more than quiet suspense

Stylized blood and weaponized vehicles show up in the combat spectacle. Injury is exaggerated and animated, yet still vivid

Talk after watching
- Almost no spoken story guides you, only images and songs. What did the animation say that the lyrics did not?
- The driver keeps pushing through a ruined world. When does grit become recklessness?
