Our take

Rock On!! is a Mumbai band story about friendship, ego, and second chances, with big songs and emotional fights. Mild swearing (damn, hell, s-word) shows up in arguments, and there is brief blood when tempers snap. Romance and "sex appeal" chat stay light. We land at 12 and up because the adult regret themes and occasional coarse language sit above a little-kids U vibe

Uplifting themes

Second chances, loyalty, and making art together get a full-hearted push. The film argues that dreams still matter after you grow up Friends who apologise and show up again model repair after ego wrecks the group. Not every choice is wise, but repair is valued

Story (may spoil tone)

Aditya, Joe, Kedar and Rob form a rock band, but break up after they fail to make a success of it. They establish regular lives until they decide to reunite and take another shot at fulfilling their dreams.

Friendship fractures and later crisis scenes carry real mourning for what the band lost. The ache is personal more than a death-focused plot

Talk after watching

  • The band breaks up when dreams stall. Have you ever walked away from something you loved, and did you regret it?
  • Success and friendship pull in different directions here. How do you keep people close when ambition gets loud?
