Our take

A quirky Wes Anderson espionage comedy with his usual deadpan tone. Rated M for violent content, bloody images, some sexual material, nude images and smoking throughout. Violence stays stylized rather than splatter-heavy, though assassinations and poisonings keep recurring. Best for mid-teens around 14 and up who can handle comic spy peril.

Uplifting themes

Loyalty and reconciliation themes sit beside ruthless business choices

Story (may spoil tone)

Wealthy businessman Zsa-zsa Korda appoints his only daughter, a nun, as sole heir to his estate. As Korda embarks on a new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists, and determined assassins.
