Our take
Shadyside teens face another bloody night in this Fear Street slasher. Netflix lists it R 18+ for strong bloody violence and gore, teen drug use, language and some sexual references. Mean-girl drama turns lethal with stabbings and horror callbacks to earlier films. Adults only (18+); too harsh for younger teens.

Story (may spoil tone)
Who will be voted queen at Shadyside High's 1988 prom? For underdog Lori, competition is cutthroat even before someone starts killing off the candidates.
