Our take

An MA 15+ action thriller stars Ben Affleck as an autistic problem-solver pulled into a deadly conspiracy with his lethal brother. Sustained gunfights, stabbings and assassinations bring blood, plus very frequent profanity. A subplot touches human trafficking and threats toward children. Best for older teens 16+ and adults who already handled the first film's intensity.

Uplifting themes

Loyalty and using your gifts to protect others get some weight amid the mayhem The lead works through problems methodically, though violence is his main tool here

Story (may spoil tone)

When an old acquaintance is murdered, Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax, to help. In partnership with Marybeth Medina, they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.
