Tubi TV
Our take
A 21-minute horror short rated TV-MA on Tubi, about a birthday party hijacked by a sinister Simon host. Wrong moves lead to quick killings and practical blood effects. Strong language shows up in the YouTube cut, and the tone stays mean-spirited rather than campy fun. Best for about 15 and up.
Uplifting themes
Survival hinges on listening carefully, but there is little constructive takeaway
Story (may spoil tone)
A group of friends gathers for a party when a mysterious entertainer named Simon arrives to host a game of Simon Says. What begins as a harmless game becomes a deadly fight for survival, where one wrong move can cost them their lives.

Talk after watching
- Party games in horror often trap victims. Why is following orders dangerous here?
- Short horror can still be intense. How do you decide when a clip is too much?
