Our take

An Asylum-style survival horror about teens stranded at sea while sharks close in and parents race to find them, listed US NR on Prime Video. Bloody shark attacks, injury detail and sustained peril. A young child also joins the boating trip, so child-in-danger tension runs throughout.

Uplifting themes

Parents refuse to stop searching, and stranded friends try to keep each other alive Some teens and adults show courage as they coordinate rescue efforts under pressure

Story (may spoil tone)

A family vacation goes wrong when their daughter and her friends get lost at sea on a fishing boat. When that boat is destroyed, they survive in a row boat, then the open ocean. Her parents race to find her as sharks circle ever closer in a deadly fight for survival.
