Mutiny is Jason Statham's MA 15+ cargo-ship actioner about a framed bodyguard slaughtering human-trafficking mercenaries to avenge his murdered boss. Graphic violence is a major concern. Trafficking of refugees, including children, is part of the stakes. Strong language also features. Strictly for mature action fans.
Uplifting themes
Anti-trafficking rescue provides moral justification for the bloodshed. Critics still frame the film as generic revenge fare with little deeper uplift Reed fights traffickers, yet he solves problems through mass killing. Angie joins the slaughter without nuance
Story (may spoil tone)
