Our take

This US R psychological horror traps a pregnant widow with her late husband's obsessive in-laws. Official descriptors flag bloody violence, suicide, sexual content, brief drug use and sustained dread around the unborn child. Stella fights confinement in a remote estate while paranoia and grief thicken. The mood stays oppressive rather than jump-scare driven. Adults only.

Story (may spoil tone)

Pregnant and recently widowed, Stella is taken in by her late husband’s estranged family. But beneath their generosity lies something deeply unsettling, leaving Stella fighting for her life as their obsession with her unborn child turns deadly.
