Ethan Hawke stars in an MA 15+ Depression-era gold-smuggling thriller. A father torn from his daughter must trek wilderness with fellow prisoners under Russell Crowe's warden. Expect betrayal, gunpoint coercion, head-bashing, perilous cliff sequences and bloody images. Labour-camp brutality and the daughter's uncertain fate add emotional weight. Best for older teens and adults who can handle grim period crime drama.
