Eli Roth's extreme horror sends a demonic ice cream vendor into a summer town where cursed treats turn children into axe-wielding killers. The R 18+ gore covers decapitations, severed limbs, torture, a suicide with bloody aftermath and sustained peril involving kids. Strong language and a few drug and sex references appear alongside the massacre premise. A horror-comedy tone does not soften the graphic violence for sensitive viewers. Adults only.
