Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a three-hour-plus Kannada-English period gangster saga starring Yash in a dual role as a ruthless Goa crime lord and his estranged son. India rated it adults-only (A). Stylized shootouts, electric-saw killings, multiple sex scenes, ganja and alcohol abuse, drunk-driving child peril, a character's suicide, split-personality horror and abusive dialogue directed at a child all feature. Critics praised Yash and Kiara Advani but widely panned the bloated screenplay. Strictly for adults; the fairy-tale framing does not make this a family film.
