Our take
A woman receives a mysterious box with grim rules she must obey in this US R horror. Bloody killings and maiming with knives and tools, including amputations, share space with frequent f-words and harsh insults. Jump scares, voices, a skeleton locked in with her, and visions of a child dying keep dread high, and the heroine hurts herself under the box's pressure. Polly also drinks wine and smokes heavily. ClearAge puts it around 16 for mature older teens and adults.
Story (may spoil tone)
When Polly receives a mysterious box, it comes with one rule: place inside something she needs, something she hates, and something she loves. If she doesn’t obey, it will consume everything—and everyone—she’s ever known.
