Our take
A spirited teen chasing the perfect debut strikes a deal with a lonely newcomer in this US TV-MA story, then unexpected feelings and revelations threaten to wreck their plans. S-word jokes pile up and some f-words land harder than mild talk without filling every scene. A comic ballpoint-pen mishap and verbal threats about getting beaten up sit beside a cheek kiss and romantic moments with nothing explicit. Insults, clique pressure, and prejudice color the social world. ClearAge puts it around US TV-MA for older teens and adults.
