Our take

Teens steal a driver's ed car and hit the road so a lovesick high school senior can find his college-freshman girlfriend and try to win her back in this US R romance. Strong language, sexual content, and suicide themes run through the trip. Teen-comedy energy keeps going while those heavier notes sit in the mix. ClearAge puts it around 16 for mature older teens and adults.

Shots ring out in a roadside robbery, and reckless car chases mix with a few comic crotch punches. Nobody ends up badly hurt. Guns and crashes still feel real

Constant swearing from teens and even the principal leans on the f-word, with the s-word, a-word, and other harsh insults mixed in. The road trip rarely gets a quiet stretch from that talk

The trip brings making out, lots of sexual jokes, and talk about skinny-dipping, plus a male streaker who clearly shows his bare backside. Sexual content rides raunchy teen-comedy energy

Pot and mushrooms are used on the trip by a teen who also sells drugs. At the college stop, heavy underage drinking, kegs, and bongs pile on, with cocaine talked about as normal. Stressed adults drink too

Stealing the driver's ed car, reckless driving, and treating underage drinking plus drug use as adventure all sit on screen. A younger viewer could take that as a blueprint to copy

Anxiety, depression, and ADHD meds come up in teen talk with a casual comedy tone. The story never builds a clinical mental-health plot around them
