Our take

A singer tries to start over in small-town Tennessee in this US TV-14 music romance. Along the way come whiskey orders, talk about bar income, mild hell language, grief counselors, and chemistry that stays clear of explicit nudity. Faith and music hold the rebuild together. Gentle romance with a faith lean works for teens who already like that lane.

Uplifting themes

In Tennessee, faith, prayer, and choosing love after loss sit at the rebuild's center. Kindness from the community and second chances keep counting. The film does not ask you to cheer for revenge Ruth stays with Naomi after catastrophe and puts real work into a new start. Boaz and the church community help in practical ways. Next to that, revenge-driven choices look destructive

Story (may spoil tone)

A talented singer leaves the Atlanta music scene and starts over in small-town Tennessee, where she finds love and new purpose but can't escape the past.

A botched carjacking kills two men and leaves the family grieving. Later pressure comes from a revenge fire, a woman fleeing, and a fistfight where weapons come out. Romance softens the second half, but that danger still sits underneath

Hell shows up mildly, and you get at least one s-word, mostly in bars and arguments. Light for a faith-leaning romance. Strong swearing never turns into a barrage

Flirting, kissing, skimpy stage dancing, and an older couple in bed with a clear sexual suggestion are all here. Women stare at a shirtless man too. Full nudity stays off the focus list

Wine gets made and tasted at Boaz's vineyard, and adults order beer and cocktails at a bar. Social drinking is frequent. Hard-drug use is beside the point of the story

Atlanta opens with a carjacking and a revenge arson plan that feel scary. Ruth also hides from a man she believes is dangerous. Only after that pressure eases does the Tennessee romance settle

Naomi and Ruth are devastated by two family deaths from the carjacking, and they talk about grief while faith and music help them rebuild. Loss powers the story. It does not fade after a quick mention
