Uplifting themes
Protecting his town and staying loyal to people he loves give Sam a warmer through-line. Rule-bending also shows how messy justice gets. Friendship and accountability still peek out past the swagger Integrity and care for partner and town are what Sam reaches for as the case falls apart. Bobby charms and often models the wrong path. The quieter deputy is the example worth naming
