Our take

The surviving Avengers try to reverse a universe-wide disaster in a long, loud comic-book epic. Frequent fantasy fights, some blood, creature set pieces and a heavy mood of loss run through it. Adults drink, including a hero in a clear slump, and mild swearing sits with a few crude jokes. Fine with a parent from 13. Younger kids who struggle with sad hero farewells or big battle noise may find it a lot.

Uplifting themes

Teamwork, second chances and choosing hope after devastation come through Heroes own mistakes, protect each other and put the greater good first

Story (may spoil tone)

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.
