Our take

Peter Parker's identity is public, magic goes wrong, and villains from other worlds crash into New York. Long fantasy action brawls, some minor blood and monster-style villains sit with school and media pressure on teens. Language is mostly hell, damn and the s-word, with at least one f-word. Brief sex talk and a comic nudity joke. A loved adult dies and grief lands hard. Fine with a parent from 13. Younger kids who already love MCU fights may cope with guidance, but the loss scene is the tough part.

Story (may spoil tone)

Peter Parker is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a super-hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
