JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time is a short, brightly drawn kids' League film. Lex and the Legion of Doom mess with time, and the heroes have to stop them. There is cartoon combat, a machine-gun gag, and talk of nearly getting killed, all played at Saturday-morning intensity. No real gore or adult swearing stands out. Little kids who already like superhero cartoons will be fine with you nearby for the noisier bits. We put this at 8 because even gentle League fights still mean weapons and peril.
Uplifting themes
Working together across time to protect ordinary people is the whole plot. Cheating history to grab power is treated as wrong. It is a simple, readable lesson for primary-schoolers The League models teamwork, rescue, and stopping bullies with powers. Lex is the cautionary grab-for-control figure. Kids get a clean split between helpers and wreckers

The League and the Legion of Doom trade cartoon punches, blasts, and a burst of machine-gun fire in the time-travel chase. Nobody is really hurt. It is noisy kids’ action with clear good-versus-bad staging

Villains threatening to wreck the timeline give a little urgency, then the colour and jokes keep it light. There is no horror design. Very young children may still find the yelling and weapons loud
