Kill Bill: Vol. 2 continues the stylised revenge story with a darker, more talkative tone. Sword fights, a burial sequence, and a close-up injury bring brutal moments even when the blood is heightened rather than realistic. Strong language is frequent, with drinking and some drug talk. We put it at MA 15+ and up for older viewers comfortable with cruelty and adult themes.
Uplifting themes
There is a thread about a mother fighting to reclaim her child and her life, and about the heavy cost of revenge. It is thoughtful in places, though wrapped in a very violent package Nearly everyone here is a trained killer, including the protagonist. She is determined and capable, but her choices are not a model for anyone to follow
Story (may spoil tone)
The Bride unwaveringly continues on her roaring rampage of revenge against the band of assassins who had tried to kill her and her unborn child. She visits each of her former associates one-by-one, checking off the victims on her Death List Five until there's nothing left to do … but kill Bill.

Loss and mourning sit under the revenge plot, with a funeral, talk of a massacre at a wedding, and a mother kept apart from her child. These threads give the violence an undercurrent of sadness

Talk after watching
- The whole story is powered by revenge. Does the film make it look worth the cost, or does it show a price being paid?
- The violence is very stylised and almost beautiful at times. How does that change the way we react to it?
