Why our age differs

Official is M. We say 15+ because shootings, a murder frame-up, and frequent strong language make a harder watch than a soft crime comedy

Our take

In this Swedish action comedy, an ordinary man is framed for murder and scrambles to clear his name. Guns, car chases and fights interrupt the jokes, while cocaine is part of the conspiracy. The English subtitles carry frequent strong language. The danger and swearing make this an older teen watch, even when the film plays for laughs.

Uplifting themes

Proving the truth and refusing to stay the convenient scapegoat give the clownish hero a spine. Loyalty between unlikely allies helps The salesman keeps trying to do the right awkward thing when systems fail him. Most institutions around him look crooked, lazy, or useless

Story (may spoil tone)

Wrongfully convicted of murder, a clumsy electronics salesman faces police corruption and criminal conspiracies in an attempt to prove his innocence.

Murder accusations, guns pointed, and chase-and-shoot set pieces keep interrupting the comedy. Impact is clearer than a pure spoof, even when stunts go silly

The f-word shows up in bursts of panic, with s-word, hell, damn, and b-word around the edges. Swearing is regular without becoming the whole soundtrack

Stolen cocaine sits at the centre of the conspiracy, and wine appears in a lunchtime aside. Dealing and bust talk matter more than party drinking

Framed for murder and hunted by armed people, the hero spends much of the film in sweaty flight. Tension breaks into jokes often enough to soften the scare

An online casino line pops up early while the salesman muddles through ordinary life. Gambling is a one-beat flavour, not a habit story parents need to unpack

A funeral is mentioned after a killing tied to the frame-up. Loss is acknowledged in a line or two, then the chase comedy continues

Talk after watching

  • An ordinary worker gets crushed by systems that will not listen. How do you stay calm when adults in charge seem determined to get the story wrong?
  • The film mixes slapstick with real guns and corruption. Did the jokes make the danger feel lighter, or did that mix feel weird?
