Our take
Thunderbolts* is a PG-13 MCU adventure about disillusioned antiheroes forced into a dangerous mission. Action includes gunfights, impalements, and a child endangered by gunfire, plus dialogue about depression, loneliness, and past abuse. Language stays mostly moderate with at least one f-word and drug references in backstory. Best for tweens and teens already comfortable with Marvel-level violence and heavier emotional themes
Uplifting themes
Empathy, teamwork, and facing trauma together are central themes Flawed heroes choose to protect others and connect rather than stay isolated
Story (may spoil tone)
