This US R road-trip comedy follows two hapless drivers transporting a wealthy teen to rehab when drugs, kidnapping, gunfire and social-media chaos derail the job. Crude humor and strip-club scenes run through the disasters. A backstory involving arson against a homeless man adds a dark edge. Secret dosing, fake kidnappings and online clout-chasing are played for comedy. Strictly for older teens and adults.
Uplifting themes
The film is crude and edgy with limited moral uplift. Any hero framing at the end is undercut by the teen's unchanged behavior Lead drivers are well-meaning but incompetent, and the teen passenger is cruel and manipulative. Neither group offers strong role-model material
Story (may spoil tone)
When two unqualified bozos are hired to transfer a rich teen to rehab, their straightforward gig quickly spirals into dangerous mayhem.
