Our take

After the Hunt is an MA 15+ drama about a Yale philosophy professor caught between a student's assault accusation against a colleague and secrets from her own past. Sustained strong language, wine and party drinking, kissing, spam-call nudity references and explicit dialogue about rape and abuse all feature. A suicide is referenced in backstory. Mature themes about power, consent and campus politics suit older teens and adults only.

Uplifting themes

The story raises questions about consent, accountability and who gets believed Characters are flawed, and few offer clear moral guidance

Story (may spoil tone)

A college professor finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.
