Our take

Shaun tries to fix a ruined pumpkin patch and ends up chasing rumours of a wild beast in the woods. Very mild slapstick, brief jumpy Halloween moments, comic zombie play-acting, toy-like weapons for chasing a monster, burp and toilet jokes and a flash of comic nudity sit in the mix. Almost no real language beyond a comic OMG gag. Fine with a parent from 8. Very sensitive younger kids may need a cuddle during the spooky bits.

Friends pull together to fix a mess and face a scare as a team Shaun keeps trying, helps the flock and looks out for the farm Light science tinkering and problem-solving on the farm come through

On Halloween Eve at Mossy Bottom Farm, excitement turns to dismay when the clumsy Farmer ruins the pumpkin patch. Shaun tries fixing it with science experiments, but things go wrong when a wild beast appears in the woods.
