Our take

Housefull 3 has suitors pretending to be disabled while pursuing three sisters. Sexual jokes, beer-festival drinking, and a threat to use rape allegations as blackmail sit alongside slapstick gun and murder plans. The guide also notes a joke about depression. We put it at around 15 and up for the sustained coarse humour and sexual-threat talk.

Uplifting themes

Love conquers lies by the finale, but the path rewards deception Suitor heroes cheat from minute one. Treat them as cautionary clowns Pure franchise comedy; optional talk on disability respect if you watch

Story (may spoil tone)

A father doesn't want his three daughters to get married. Now, it's up to three men to try to and convince the father that they're a good fit for his daughters.

Blackmail scenes shout about rape charges and compensation as leverage. Not a depiction of assault, but the threat is repeated for laughs. Uncomfortable for many families

Talk after watching

  • Characters fake disabilities for sympathy. Why is that harmful even in a comedy?
  • When a movie uses "rape charges" as a punchline, what message does that send about real survivors?
