Our take
The new baby in this Finnish forest horror is frightening, but the film also shows far more than slow dread. There is a bloody birth, injuries during breastfeeding, a child losing a finger and a scene of cannibalism. Sex is portrayed without nudity in that scene, while separate full-frontal female nudity appears outside a sexual context. Occasional strong swearing and social drinking are also present.
