View all categoriesOur take
Jesse is on the run after the end of Breaking Bad, trying to leave the drug world behind. El Camino moves between memories and a tense escape, with sudden gunfire, threats, meth and cocaine in the story. We would keep it for MA 15+ and up; it also assumes you know the series.
Uplifting themes
The film is about trying to start over after a life of crime, and the cost of the choices that got him there. It does not pretend that a clean break is easy Jesse is sympathetic and loyal to friends, but he lives and acts in a violent criminal world. His wish to change is the part worth talking about
Story (may spoil tone)
In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse Pinkman must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.
