Our take

Rob lives alone in the woods with his pig until thieves drag him back into city violence and fine-dining politics. He talks about his wife's suicide and carries that grief in every scene, while language stays rough in arguments with Amir. A beating and tense back-room meetings add bruises but not splatter. We land at MA 15+ and up because of the grief thread, coarse talk, and adult themes around loss

Uplifting themes

Letting go, honesty, and choosing memory over revenge emerge by the end. Loyalty to a pet becomes a stand-in for loving people well Rob is grief-stricken yet gentle with his pig and with Amir. Amir grows from impatient dealer to someone who listens

Story (may spoil tone)

A truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregon wilderness must visit Portland to find the mysterious person who stole his beloved foraging pig.
