Why our age differs

Official is MA 15+. We say 16+ because the paralysis stalking and repeated strong language feel closer to a hard MA 15+ thriller than a typical 15+ action watch

Our take

A grieving woman meets a stranger in the woods and soon has to fight for her life while unable to move freely. Don't Move stays tense through that helplessness, then adds stabbings and deaths. We would wait until 16.

Uplifting themes

Survival and refusing to give up matter in the finale. The road there is grim Iris uses wit and stubbornness when her body fails her. The villain is chilling, not aspirational

Story (may spoil tone)

A grieving woman in a secluded forest encounters a killer who injects her with a paralytic drug. As her body shuts down, her fight for survival begins.

  • Iris is grieving while fighting to stay alive. How does loss change the way you root for her?
  • The killer treats paralysis like a puzzle. What would you want a friend to know about trusting strangers on solo trips?
