Our take
Angel Has Fallen is a loud MA 15+ thriller full of ambushes, drone attacks, and gunfights as Banning races to clear his name. Blood shows up in crash and shootout aftermaths, and strong language is frequent. Brief intimate kissing is the only sex beat. We land at 16 and up because sustained gun violence and frequent strong language push past a lighter restricted action night
Uplifting themes
Protecting people you serve and clearing a false charge still matter to Banning under fire. The film also shows how power and money can twist loyalty overnight Banning keeps pushing to protect the president even while his own colleagues hunt him. His methods stay brutal, so the role-model glow stays limited for teens
Story (may spoil tone)
After a treacherous attack, Secret Service agent Mike Banning is charged with attempting to assassinate President Trumbull. Chased by his own colleagues and the FBI, Banning begins a race against the clock to clear his name.
