Our take
This is not the Masters of the Universe He-Man movie. It is an unrated Asylum sci-fi fantasy, about 81 minutes long, in which a young hero finds hidden powers while fighting planet-harvesting invaders. Dialogue covers murder, blood, guns and battle axes, and a king's death appears on screen, alongside mild crude language. Best suited to teens who already handle B-movie fantasy violence.
Uplifting themes
Protecting the Forge and standing against tyranny are stated goals, though the theme work is thin
Story (may spoil tone)
A young man must use his untapped powers to fight back against an evil alien and their army, who will stop at nothing to take over Earth and then the universe.

Talk after watching
- Faurtax wants to drain entire planets for resources. How does that mirror real debates about exploitation versus survival?
- Prince Eli must grow into power he did not know he had. What makes a hero's journey feel earned in a short runtime?
