Our take

The Unbreakable Boy is a PG family drama based on a true story about parents raising a son who is autistic and has brittle bone disease. Expect mild language, brief bullying, hospital injury scenes, wine at dinner, kissing between parents, and uplifting faith themes. The tone is emotional but gentle overall. Good for families ready to discuss disability and gratitude

Uplifting themes

Gratitude, faith, courage, and seeing every life as a gift Parents advocate fiercely; Austin models joy and resilience
