Our take

A Netflix action romantic comedy about a realtor pulled back into his criminal past. Bloody fistfights, gun violence, car chases, very frequent f-word dialogue, kissing and comic banter between ex-partners. Valentine's Day rom-com beats mix with brutal action. Suited to mature teens.

Uplifting themes

Second chances and loyalty show up, though crime still dominates The leads show wit and care, but solve problems with violence

Story (may spoil tone)

A realtor is pulled back into the life he left behind after his former partner-in-crime resurfaces with an ominous message. With his crime-lord brother also on his trail, he must confront his past and the history he never fully buried.

Talk after watching

  • The leads share a dangerous past but still care. Can people change after harmful choices?
  • Rom-coms sometimes treat crime as quirky backstory. How do movies blur real consequences?
