Our take
An animated comedy about a bounty hunter pursuing a runaway elephant. Slapstick chases, comic danger and mild suggestive wordplay appear, without graphic violence or substance use. Mixed reviews, but fine for young viewers who enjoy cartoon road-trip humor.
Uplifting themes
Unlikely friendship and seeing the good in others emerge on the road trip Hitpig and Pickles learn cooperation despite starting as hunter and target
Story (may spoil tone)
A porcine bounty hunter accepts his next hit: Pickles, a naive, ebullient elephant. Though he initially sets out to capture the perky pachyderm, the unlikely pair find themselves crisscrossing the globe on an adventure that brings out the best in both of them.
