Disney's live-action reimagining of the 2016 animated hit follows Moana (Catherine Laga'aia) and Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on the same ocean voyage to restore her island. Expect songs, adventure and fantasy peril under a PG rating. Battles with Te Ka, Kakamora and ocean storms match the animated original's tone. Younger children may find live-action Te Ka more intense. Fine for most school-age viewers already familiar with the animated film.
